Why Donate? 

The Ballard High School Educators Rising chapter needs your help to send 18 aspiring educators to Educators Rising Nationals in Orlando, Florida this summer. Members are aspiring educators in grades 9-12 who are passionate about developing the necessary skills to become effective leaders to shape the trajectory of future generations. 

   We currently have eighty-two actively involved students. Each coming from diverse backgrounds, experiences, religions, and ethnicities. This year, Ballard's Educators Rising chapter competed in twenty events at the state level. We earned thirteen first place and three third place finishes which qualified eighteen students for the national conference. 

Students do not have the ability to independently fund this trip, however. Our hope is that all eligible students will be able to attend the conference and compete in their respective categories. The expenses associated with this opportunity include airfare, lodging, registration, transportation to and from the airport, and food.
